The QFF Series™ of flies do one thing well – they catch quality fish. These Quality Fish Flies (QFF) are unlike other products in the market. After 3 years of field testing along with 35 years of fly tying experience, we are offering a unique combination of features that we have not yet found in off the shelf streamers.
Durability – The body is reinforced with bright wire. The wings are tied in wet so that there is no decompression leading to fibers pulling out like many marabou streamers. The head has 3 coats of durable acrylic gloss. We use the best Daiichi streamer hooks. We expect each fly to catch over 10 large fish and we do not expect that you need to worry about hook sharpness.
Performance – The body uses the same shimmer material we use on the very successful and popular Sexy Smelt lures and trolls providing fantastic realism to the fly. The key to a good streamer is the right proportion of a baitfish requiring a sparse profile. We use a little flash with a variety of quality wing material and color to create a tremendous product. All flies are made on a size 4 hook. We can at your request customize them in size 6 and size 8.
